We, here at Weird Science, use advertising to pay our bills, but we do not accept money from any entity to write a review or to write an article. As such, all opinions are our own and are in no way manufactured or shaped by the financial pockets of our advertisers. It’s important to us that you know this, so that you might understand these are our thoughts and ideas that go into this site and not some sort of marketing venture set to get you to view, purchase, or concede to anything.
As for the advertisements on our site, we have little control over their content, but should you find any to be offensive or lacking taste please notify us, and we will do what we can to block them. We want your experience here at Weird Science to be a pleasant one, and we will do whatever is in our power to insure that it is.
Finally, we ask that you don’t cajole our ad system with a bunch of invalid clicks, thinking that you are somehow helping us along financially. All this will do is flag our advertisers that the system is being jibbed and they will slap our site by discontinuing our advertising agreement. Instead, if you want to help out, we ask that you contact us and we can arrange for you to make a proper donation to our site. Of course, if you see an advertisement that you have a genuine interest in, then by all means, imbibe your curiosity. We’re just asking that you don’t do so in a reckless manner, under the assumption that you are helping us with our advertisers.
