After making this, humanity's evolution stopped and fell in a powerful regression as a direct consequence of the abundance of the new planet. Because this upkeep it has as a direct consequence the destruction of nature due to exploitation of the natural supplies, as we see nowadays. May be they destroyed Mars too in such a way and they not wanted to commit the same mistake here. I strongly believe that, there is life on Mars even now, but not Martian life. There is an outpost of extraterrestrial beings who are observing Earth, Earthen life and the Solar System.
